Grassroots Fine Gardening is a Santa Barbara based gardening service offering expert installation, consultation, and maintenance for gardens throughout Santa Barbara county. Our mission is to create and maintain beautiful organic gardens while accomplishing this in a reasonably “green” way, and providing conscientious service and excellent communication with our clients.

We approach gardening from an organic point of view and consider the health and balance of the whole when designing a project or management plan. It is our goal to avoid pesticides, herbicides and/or synthetic fertilizers. We also use IPM (integrated pest management) methods when necessary. The IPM methodology promotes beginning with the most benign methods first when dealing with garden pests. Progressively stronger solutions are used if earlier methods are insufficient. Normally we have much success going “green.”
